Roadside Reach billboard hire starts from $405 per week + GST for the site, and the per-week rate drops the longer you book. On top of the weekly hire, there's a one-off cost for your printed billboard skins (the artwork itself) — we pass these on at cost with no markup, currently $825 + GST for both sides of the double-sided board. We print and install them for you, you pay for them once, and they run for your whole campaign. The final hire price depends on which site you choose, how long you run for, and whether you need design help. High-traffic sites like SH1 sit at the upper end, and longer campaigns earn the best weekly rate:

• 3 months — reduced per-week rate
• 6 months — best per-week rate, and where most clients see the strongest results

Roadside Reach has 16 high-traffic roadside billboard sites across Northland, from Mangawhai in the south to Kaitaia in the north. Established locations include Whangārei, Kerikeri, Paihia, Waipapa, Kaikohe, Pakaraka, Moerewa, Kaitaia and Awanui. We can also source new sites to suit your campaign and target audience.

Each Roadside Reach billboard is a double-sided 6 m × 3 m display, so your message is seen by traffic travelling in both directions. Our trailers are built wider at the base for stability in Northland's coastal winds and sit higher off the ground, lifting your ad above hedges, parked cars and roadside clutter so drivers see it clearly from further away.

Bookings start from a minimum of 6 weeks, with flexible terms beyond that. Most clients see the strongest results — and the best per-week rate — over a 3 to 6 month campaign, because roadside recall builds with repeated exposure: the longer drivers see your board on their daily route, the more it sticks. Roadside Reach handles the printing, installation and maintenance, but we don't offer graphic design in-house. If you already have print-ready artwork, send it through and we take care of the rest: printing the skins, installing them, leasing the land and maintaining the board for the length of your campaign. If you need a design created, we're happy to refer you to a graphic designer we've worked with — you'd engage them directly, at your own cost.

 Yes. You can pick from our established high-traffic sites across Northland, or tell us the town or road you want to target and we'll advise on the best available placement. If you have a specific location in mind that isn't already in our network, we can often source it for you.

Most billboards are up within about 14 days of artwork approval, allowing time for printing, freight to Northland and weather. The moment your skins arrive at our depot we install them — we don't sit on them — so the timeline is really just print and freight, not us. And if your skins arrive early and your site's free, we'll put your board up straight away and give you that extra time as free advertising — your paid campaign still starts on your agreed date, so any early days are on us. If you're working to a tight launch or event date, tell us early on 021 265 4255 and we'll do everything we can to fast-track it; we've turned jobs around in as little as 6 days when needed.

Roadside Reach is a Northland-based, owner-operated billboard company run by Zelda and Wayne from Kerikeri in the Bay of Islands. We own the trailers, manage the sites and run every campaign ourselves — Wayne and I handle every install together, with no Auckland contractors. When you book with us, you're dealing directly with the people who put your billboard up, in the region we call home.
